the land and the vines
The land is located in various places, including Montioni: also called Three Hills, this is the highest point in Lazise. Marked by a papal cross made in 1672 and placed on the top of the hill to remember the special blessing granted by Pope Clement X for the prosperity of the ten municipalities of this area, you can enjoy a truly breathtaking view from here.
The other part of the land is located on the border with the hamlet of Colà, on this side of the Dugale canal, between the villages of Parolotta,
Le Coste and Costabella. In the original language, these toponyms suggest the characteristics of the hilly places, on which terraces were created to grow vines and olive trees.
Linked to the traditions of the territory, we have chosen to cultivate Corvina, the red grape typical of the Verona area, but we have also accepted the brave challenge of cultivating an unusual vine of great historical charm, Syrah, which has allowed us to achieve surprising results also due to clonal selection and the exposure of the land to the sun and wind of Monte Baldo.
Furthermore, the excellent quality and quantity of the white white Garganega grape, typical of this territory, has also allowed us to produce a new and young white wine.
